Lynn PSAC East Pitcher of the Year; Mauro Rookie of the Year

Five members of the Bloomsburg softball team have earned all conference honors from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Year and first team All-PSAC East was Ashley Lynn, while Lacy Mauro was named the PSAC East Rookie of the Year and first team All-PSAC East as an outfielder. Earning first team All-PSAC East at shortstop was Tara Reed, while outfielder Nikki Shiko was named first team with pitcher Sheelin Fisher earning second team All-PSAC East honors.-- Click Here


BU Selected for NCAA Championships

For a record 26th consecutive season the Bloomsburg University softball team will make an appearance in the NCAA Division II championships. The Huskies are seeded number two in the Mid-Atlantic Regional championships which begin on Wednesday at Kutztown University. The Bloomsburg University softball team reached the 40-win mark for the 14th time in school history after sweeping a pair of games from Mansfield on Tuesday by scores of 8-0 and 9-1 in five innings.
