Softball Ranked 12th in Division II


BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University softball team is ranked 12th in latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Top 25 poll.

Bloomsburg, 19-2 and winners of 11 straight, moved up four spots from the last ranking after sweeping five games at the West Virginia Wesleyan tournament last weekend. In the five games, the Huskies outscored their opponents by a 19-3 margin with three shutouts.

The Huskies will host Holy Family, weather permitting, in the home opener on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
