Bloomsburg University Softball Ranked 16th in Division II
BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University softball team has climbed to 16th in the country in Division II according to the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Rankings.
The Huskies, 26-4, moved up three spots from last week's poll. Bloomsburg has won 15 of its last 16 games with its only loss coming to third-ranked Lock Haven. The Huskies, who split a pair of games with the Lady Eagles two weeks ago, will end the regular season on Saturday with a pair of games at Lock Haven. Right now Bloomsburg and Lock Haven are tied atop the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central Division with a mark of 11-1.
Before facing Lock Haven, the Huskies will take on 10th-ranked Kutztown on Friday. The Golden Bears are one of four PSAC ranked in the top 25. The other team in the rankings is California (PA) at number 22.
