Bloomsburg Softball Moves to 12th in National Poll


BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University softball team moved up one spot to 12th in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association's weekly Division II poll.

The Huskies, 19-3, ranked 13th in last week's poll, received 188 total points to move up one spot. North Georgia is number one for the fourth straight week and is unbeaten at 27-0.

Bloomsburg is coming off a sweep of defending national champion Lock Haven on Tuesday by scores of 10-4 and 11-6 and has now won 10 of its last 11 games.

The Huskies play at Mansfield on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
