PSAC Individual Tennis Championships Ends Day One

BLOOMSBURG--Day one of the PSAC Individual Men's and Women's Tennis Championships concluded day one action at the Bloomsburg University courts.

In men's action, Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) advanced to Sunday's quarterfinal action by winning two matches. Gal beat Zack Thomas of Slippery Rock, 6-1, 6-0, then beat teammate Dan Phillips (England) 6-2, 6-3. Gal will face Radoslaw Hlubinski of Kutztown in quarterfinal action.

In women's doubles action, the team of Lauren Colfer (Philadelphia/St. Basil Academy) and Tracey Nissenbaum (Allentown/William Allen) defeated Zern and Doyle of West Chester, 8-3 and will now face Rombach and Jack of Clarion in the semi-finals on Sunday.
