Kellock Places First at 5,000 Meters at PSAC East Track Challenge

KUZTTOWN--The Bloomsburg University men's and women's indoor track teams took part in the PSAC East Challenge meet at Kutztown University on Friday.

Among the top finishers for the women was Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn) who took first in the 5,000 meter race in 18:15.08. Beth Schwing (Hershey/Lower Dauphin) was second in the event in 18:23.35, while Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) was fourth in 19:34.74.

In the 3,000 meter race, Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) placed second in 10:40.88, while in the 400 meters Sandy Newell was third in 1:01.78.

On the men's side, Misha Litvinov (Drums/Hazleton Area) was second in the 5,000 meters in 15:48.54 with Tim Marcoe (Lansdale/Lansdale Catholic) third in 15:58.79 and Mike Dalton (Lake Hopatcong, NJ/Pope John XXIII) fourth in 16:02.01. In the mile, Dan Tallerico (Pittsburgh/North Hills) was third in 4:34.39.
