BU Track Teams at East Stroudsburg Meet

EAST STROUDSBURG--The Bloomsburg University men's and women's track teams competed at the East Stroudsburg All-American track meet on Saturday.

For the women, Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn) took first at 3,000 meters in a time of 10;26,98, while Christa Johnson (Nescopeck/Berwick) was fifth in 11:28.31 and Brittany Sonderby (Chester Springs/Downingtown East) eighth in a personal best time of 11:44.69.

At 1500 meters, Amber Hackenberg (Middleburg/Middleburg) was second in a time of 4:35.35, improving upon her PSAC-qualifying time. Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) was third in 4:56.70, which qualified for her the PSAC championships in her fourth event. At 800 meters, Sandy Newell (St. Mary's/Elk County Catholic) took second in 2:20.56.

For the men, Dan Tallarico (Pittsburgh/North Hills) was second in the 1500 in a time of 4:10.49, while Mike Dalton (Lake Hoptatcong/Pope John XXIII) was Auston Martzall (Myerstown/ELCO) sixth in 4:20.36. At 3000 meters, Misha Litvinov (Drums/Hazleton Area) was second in 9:04.39, while was third in 9:13.25 with Jimmy Stockley (Elverson/Twin Valley) fifth in 9:31.33.
