Amber Hackenberg Shatters Bloomsburg 5,000 Meter Mark

PHILADELPHIA--It was a record setting night for a few members of the Bloomsburg University women's track team at the Penn Relays.

Senior Amber Hackenberg (Middleburg/Middleburg) not only set a school record in the 5,000 meter event, she shattered the mark by more than 25 seconds. Hackenberg, who previously held the record with a time of 17:43.70, lowered the time to 17:16.42.

In addition, Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn) also ran a time well-below the previous mark when she turned in a time of 17:21.10 with Beth Schwing (Hershey/Lower Dauphin) running an 18:03.85.

At 10,000-meters, Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) tied her personal-best with a time of 37:23.
