Andrea Kellock Earns All-PSAC Honors in Two Events

INDIANA, PA-- Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn) had two second place finishes to lead the Bloomsburg University men's and women's track teams at the 2008 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships.

Kellock earned All-PSAC honors at both 3,000 and 5,000 meters for the Huskies. At 3,000 meters, she finished in 10:20.50, the second fastest time in school history. At 5,000 meters, she ran an NCAA-provisional qualifying time of 17:43.33.

Also competing at 3,000 meters was Beth Schwing (Hershey/Lower Dauphin) who finished sixth in a time of 10:29.96.

At 5,000 meters, in addition to Kellock, the Huskies took sixth, seventh and eighth places. Schwing was sixth in 18:11.05, while Amber Hackenberg (Middleburg/Middleburg) was seventh in 18:20.67 and Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) eighth in 18:24.53.

In the 800-meter event, Sandy Newell (St. Mary's/Elk County Catholic) was seventh, edging her cousin from IUP for the position, in a personal-record time of 2:16.83.

On the men's side, Misha Litvinov (Drums/Hazleton Area) finished ninth at 5,000 meters in a time of 15:34.97, while in the steeplechase Jimmy Stockley (Elverson/Twin Valley) was 13th in 10:07.
