Indoor Teams Make Season Debut
LEWISBURG--The Bloomsburg University men's and women's indoor track teams and new coach Bernie Empie began their 2008-09 season at Bucknell University on Saturday.
For the women, Erin Hanosek ran a personal-best time of 8.55 in the 60-meters; 29.00 in the 200-meters and 65.06 in the 400 meters. Jessica Dorman also turned in a personal-best of 65.23 in the 400-meters, while Kathryn Corson ran an impressive 63.19 for 400-meters. In the field events, Hannah Becker cleared 1.50m in the high-jump (4-11in.)
For the men, Jamie Waack ran an early season personal-best of 52.46 in the 400-meters, while Nate Snodgrass ran 53.27 for 400-meters.
The Huskies will compete again on January 17 at the Susquehanna University.
