Jen Bryan Named PSAC Player of the Week Again

BLOOMSBURG-For the second straight week Bloomsburg University women's basketball player Jen Bryan (Denver/Cocalico) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week.

In two games last week Bryan averaged a double-double with 17 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She shot 80 percent from the floor (12-15), while making five assists, blocking three shots and getting three steals. In a 65-63 win over Slippery Rock, Bryan scored a game-high 18 points and had eight rebounds to lead the Huskies. The next day she came back with 16 points and a career-high 15 rebounds to lead Bloomsburg to a 75-67 win over Edinboro.

For the season, Bryan is second in scoring for Bloomsburg with 12.8 points per game and is second in rebounding at 8.2 a game. In field goal percentage Bryan leads the team and the PSAC with a mark of 61.0 percent (64-105).

Bloomsburg, 13-1, is ranked ninth in the country in Division II. The Huskies are back in action Wednesday starting PSAC Eastern Division play with a game at Cheyney.
