BLOOMSBURG- For the second time this season two Bloomsburg University Basketball players took Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division weekly honors. Jen Bryan (Denver/Cocalico) took co-Player of the Week honors with Kiera Manlove of West Chester, while Jamie Kauczka (Kingston/Wyoming Valley West) took Rookie of the Week honors. The pair previously earned the same honors on Jan. 13.

Bryan, a 5-11 senior, averaged a double-double in her two games this week with 14.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. She scored 12 points and had 14 rebounds in a 65-48 win over Kutztown. She followed up that performance with 17 points and 11 rebounds, to go along with her season high six assists in a 99-78 win over Bowie State.

For the season Bryan is averaging a team-high 15.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.

Kauczka, a 5-11 freshman, averaged 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds for the week. She scored nine points and five rebounds off the bench against Kutztown, and put up 12 points, and a career best 12 rebounds against Bowie St.

For the season Kauczka is averaging 6.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

Bloomsburg (11-7) will play Cheyney at home on Wednesday at 6 p.m., and hit the road to play West Chester on Saturday.
