BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University women's basketball player Jen Bryan (Denver/Cocalico) has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for the week of December 2-8.

Last week Bryan averaged 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in wins over Indiana (PA) and Shippensburg. She collected 20 points and eight rebounds against Indians, and then registered a career-high 28 points to go along with 12 boards versus Shippensburg. She shot 68.2 percent (15-22) from the field and was 18 of 23 (78.3 percent) from the free-throw line.

For the year, Bryan leads the Huskies (2-1) with 16.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Bryan was a third team All-American a year ago and was the PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Year.

Bloomsburg is in action again Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m. at Edinboro.
