Box Score

ALBANY, NY —Stacy Schrader scored 18 points and blocked seven shots to lead LeMoyne College to a 66-55 win over Bloomsburg University in women's basketball action Monday morning in a consolation game of the Capital Key Classic in Albany, NY.

Bloomsburg was at full strength after having several of its players, including Jen Bryan (Denver/Cocalico) and Meggi Rothermel (Minersville/Nativity BVM) be limited by the flu bug this weekend at the tournament.

The two teams battled close throughout the first half with neither squad holding more than a five-point lead at any point in the first 20 minutes.

The Dolphins then went on a 13-0 run to take control of the game at 48-39. After LeMoyne pushed the to 10 points, the Huskies battled back and cut the deficit to five points with six minutes left in the game after a three-pointer by Rothermel. LeMoyne, though, got a three-pointer of its own from Shalyn Polinski with two minutes left to put the lead back to nine and put the game out of reach.
