Kegerreis Named PSAC East Rookie of the Week

BLOOMSBURG - Bloomsburg University women's basketball player Colleen Kegerreis (Schuylkill Haven/Schuylkill Haven) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Rookie of the Week for the period ending Jan. 15th.

Kegerreis, a 6-2 freshman center, nearly averaged a double-double for the Huskies in three games last week with 10.3 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game. She had her first career double-double against East Stroudsburg with 12 points and 11 rebounds and then collected her second double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in the loss at Lock Haven. For the week, she shot 65 percent from the floor (13-20).

For the year, Kegerreis is averaging 4.5 points and 4.1 rebounds a game.

Bloomsburg is back in action on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. hosting Kutztown.
