Lee Named Rookie of the Week

BLOOMSBURG- Bianca Lee (Temple Hills, MD/ Archbishop Carroll) has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Rookie of the Week for the period ending December 3.

Lee continued her outstanding freshman season this week, averaging 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in four games. Against Columbia Union, Lee scored a game-high 17 points, while grabbing six boards to lead the Huskies to a 75-58 win. In the Huskies 72-61 win over Clarion, Lee added 16 points and five boards. Lee also scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a losing effort against IUP.

For the season Lee is averaging a team-best 17.9 points per game and is second on the team in rebounds, averaging 8.4 per game. Last week she was named PSAC Player of the Week.

Bloomsburg, 4-3, will visit Fairmont State this Saturday at 2 p.m.
