BLOOMSBURG-Dana Wieller (Bethlehem/Liberty) scored a game-high 22 points to lead Bloomsburg University to a 77-72 come-from-behind win over Edinboro University in women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon at the Nelson Field House.

The Fighting Scots came out on fire in the game and led 10-0 in the first two and half minutes before Alyssa Flanagan (Freeland/Hazleton Area) got the Huskies on the board with a layup. Edinboro pushed its lead to 12 points, 15-3, before the Huskies mounted a comeback.

Bloomsburg used an 11-0 run with Kayla Oxenrider (Ashland/Tri-Valley) scoring five points to pull within a bucket a 15-13 with 14:03 left to go in the half. The Huskies would later take their first lead of the game with 8:51 to go in the half on a three-pointer by Wieller. The teams would then trade the lead nine times and were tied seven other times over the final seven minutes with Bloomsburg going to the locker room with a 42-40 lead after Jen Dervarics (Emmaus/Emmaus) hit two free throws with six seconds to play in the period.

In the second half with the score tied at 50-50 with 13:32 to play, Bloomsburg went on a 9-1 run, led by five points from Kelsey Gallagher (East Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg South), to take it biggest lead of the day at 59-51.
