Bloomsburg Women's Tennis Beats Chaminade
HONOLLULU, HI—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team won its opening match on its first-ever trip to Hawaii downing Chaminade by a 7-0 score.
Emily Murphy (Montgomery/Methacton) won a three-set thriller for the Huskies at number two singles coming back to win after dropping the first set. In addition, both Iida Hokkanen (Helsinki, Finland), at number one, and Torie Cunningham (Greenlawn, NY/Harborfields), at number four, won by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Bloomsburg is now 4-2.
