Women's Tennis Falls to Bucknell

BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team fell in their final regular season match to Bucknell, 7-0.

The lone win for the Huskies came at number three doubles where Emily Murphy (Montgomery/ Methacton) and Torie Cunningham (Greenlawn, NY/Harborfields) defeated the Bison, 8-5.

In singles, Iida Hokkanen (Helsinki, Finland) fell in a third-set replacing tiebreaker, 6-7 (1), 6-2, 10-8.

The Huskies will host the PSAC Championships this weekend with semifinal action beginning on Friday. Bloomsburg goes in as the number one seed from the east and leads the conference with a 6-0 PSAC record.
