Torie Cunningham Named PSAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University women's tennis player Torie Cunningham (Greenlawn, NY/Harborfields) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending April 18th.
Cunningham was 4-0 this week and helped propel the Huskies to wins in both of their matches.
Cunningham opened the week with an 8-6 win at number three doubles versus Kutztown before winning her number four singles match, 6-3, 6-0. On Friday, she also won two matches as she was an 8-2 winner at number two doubles versus East Stroudsburg. Cunningham also won her number two singles match versus the Warriors by a score of 6-1, 6-3.
With the wins, Cunningham improved to 16-7 in singles play and has helped the Huskies to a 4-0 PSAC team mark.
