BLOOMSBURG —Bloomsburg University wrestler Hunter Guenot was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the period Dec. 2nd through the 8th.

Guneot won the 174-pound weight class at the Penn State Open going 6-0 in the event. Along the way to the championship Guenot, a senior, won a match by fall, one by technical fall and one by major decision. It was his second Penn State Open title in the last three years.

For the season, Guenot is 14-2. As a team the Huskies are off to a 4-1 start, 1-0 in the Eastern Wrestling League.
