BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University wrestler George Carter (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg-Salem) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Wrestler of the Week for the period ending Feb. 2nd. The honor comes a week after Carter was named the Co-Eastern Wrestling League Wrestler of the Week after winning the PSAC championship.

Carter, a red-shirt senior, earned 19 team points over the course of four matches by registering two major decisions, a technical fall and a pin for the Huskies at the Ohio University Duals Saturday and Cleveland State on Sunday.

Carter is now 25-4 on the season and has won 11 straight matches. He is fifth all-time in wins at Bloomsburg with 115 and needs just one more to tie for fourth place with Rocky Bonomo, current Lock Haven coach.

Bloomsburg is 7-5 on the year, 2-3 in the Eastern Wrestling League.
