Huskies Fall to Cleveland State in Wrestling

CLEVELAND, OH —The Bloomsburg University wrestling team lost to Cleveland State Sunday afternoon, 35-7, in an Eastern Wrestling League meet.

Cleveland State was in control of the match from the outset getting a technical fall at 125 to start things off, which was followed by a forfeit to give the Vikings an 11-0 lead after two weight classes.

After two more CSU wins at 141 and 149, the Huskies' George Carter picked up a major decision, 15-7, over the Vikings' Josh Ging. Following a CSU win at 165, Bloomsburg's Hunter Guenot won by decision, 5-2, to make the score 20-7. The Vikings, though, finished the day by winning the next three matches, including one by fall.

The Huskies fall to 7-5, 2-3 in EWL, while Cleveland State improves to 10-5, 3-1 in the EWL.
