University of Findlay Defeats Princeton University at Bloomsburg Duals

BLOOMSBURG-The University of Findlay wrestling team (1-3) defeated Princeton University (0-1), 25-11, Saturday morning at Nelson Field House in the opening match of the Bloomsburg Duals.

The Oilers won seven of the ten matches, including the first four of the day.

For the Oilers, Joe Patterson won by fall at the 5:35 mark in the 165-pound weight class. Adam Morris won an 11-7 decision at the 157-pound weight class. Brandon Cooper won a close 7-6 decision at the 174-pound weight class, while Kris Klepacz won an 11-4 decision at the 184-pound weight class to help stake Findlay to a large 15-0 advantage. Also winning for the Oilers were Donald Dew, Von Graham and Waylon Lowe.

Both squads will wrestle Bloomsburg later in day, with Findlay wrestling the Huskies at noon and Princeton grappling with Bloomsburg in the final match of the day at 2 p.m.
