Fox comes out on fire and tosses Spaid to his back and earns 2 nearfall. Spaid earns an escape but Fox counters with another takedown. Spaid earns an escape before the period ends. Fox takes bottom and earns an escape. No scoring the rest of the 2nd. Spaid chooses bottom in the third and quickly gets to his feet to cut Fox's lead to 7-3.
