Mike Sees Sweeps Wrestling Weekly Awards

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University wrestler Mike Sees (Northumberland/Northumberland) has been named Wrestler of the Week in the Eastern Wrestling League and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

Sees, a red-shirt sophomore who wrestles at 125 pounds, was 2-0 for the Huskies last week. He beat Drexel's Steve Mytych, by 4-2 decision, then, came back the following evening to beat Rider's Ryan Smith 13-6. With the victories, Sees, the EWL reigning champ at his weight and former PSAC Rookie of the Year, is now 15-2 for the year and has won of his last eight matches.

Bloomsburg, 6-4, will wrestle at the Virginia Duals on Friday and Saturday.
