The Bloomsburg University wrestling team will be represented at the NCAA Division I national championships with three wrestlers, Mike Sees (125 pounds), Matt Moley (157 pounds) and Mike Spaid (285 pounds).

The Huskies, coming off an 8-7-1 season, 3-3 in the EWL, for coach John Stutzman, and will be looking for multitiple All-Americans in the same season since 1994 when Chad Bailey (150 pounds) and Pete Rinella (118 pounds) both earned All-American honors.

Sees, making his fourth trip to the NCAA championships, has posted a record of 32-3 on the season and is coming off an EWL tournament that saw him win the second EWL title of his career. Sees, who surpassed 100 career wins earlier in the season, has only lost to then top-ranked Jayson Ness of Minnesota, 11th-ranked David Tomasette of Hofstra and Kent State's Nic Bedelyon. He has beaten 17th-ranked Joey Fio of Oklahoma in an early season event. Since his loss to Ness at the Southern Scuffle at the end of December, Sees has won 10 straight matches with three of the wins coming by major decision and two by technical fall. In his career, Sees won the EWL title as a freshman and senior and has been the runner-up two other times.

Moley is 30-8 on the season and finished second at the EWL championships to earn his second trip to the NCAA championships. A year ago Moley finished fourth at EWL's and earned a wild-card berth to the NCAA championships. This season Moley is 1-4 on the year against ranked opponents, including an 0-3 mark against the Edinboro standout. After falling to Gillespie early in the year, 12-0, at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships, Moley lost by just a 2-0 score in the team's dual meet in February and lost 7-2 at the EWL championships.

Spaid, making his fourth trip to the NCAA championships after finishing second at the EWL championships. A year ago Spaid became Bloomsburg's first All-American since 1994 when he finished 8th at 285 pounds. His mark of 38-6 this season tied him for first on BU's all-time single-season victory list with Bryce Hasseman. Spaid, a two-time EWL champion, has been dominant all-season long posting 15 wins by fall, including wins by fall in his first three matches of the season. On the season he is 3-3 against ranked wrestlers and 5-1 in EWL competition. For his career, Spaid has posted a mark of 114-47, which puts him sixth on the school's career win list. He needs three wins to surpass former BU three-time All-American Ricky Bonomo for number five on the career list. His 161 matches wrestled is also one shy of the school record for most matches in a career held by Dave Morgan (1985-'89).
