Huskies Wrestling Match at Rutgers Cancelled

BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University wrestling match at Rutgers scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20 has been cancelled and will not be made up.

The cancellation of the match came as a result of the recent snow that has blanketed the northeastern part of the country. Rutgers conference match with Lehigh, originally set for Feb. 6, was snowed out and will be made up on the 20th bumping the Huskies from the schedule.

"We are disappointed we will not be able to face off against Rutgers," said head coach John Stutzman. "But we look forward to renewing our rivalry with the Scarlet Knights next season."

The Huskies final match of the year will be tonight, Feb. 12 at Lock Haven. Bloomsburg will then begin preparations for the upcoming Eastern Wrestling League Championships on Mar. 7 at West Virginia.
