November 5, 2002 Hartman Named PSAC Player of the WeekBLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg women's soccer goalie Heather Hartman (Pleasanton, CA/Amador Valley) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week for her performances last week against Millersville and East Stroudsburg.
With the Huskies needing two wins to reach the PSAC playoffs, Hartman turned in two impressive performances for the Huskies during the week. The sophomore posted two shutouts stopping a total of 16 shots, 10 against Millersville and six against East Stroudsburg. Hartman now has eight shutouts on the year and 21 for her career. Hartman has allowed just 15 goals in 18 games this season and has a goals against average of 0.82 with 133 total saves for the year giving her a saves percentage of .899. In her freshman campaign, Hartman set a school record with 13 shutouts. Bloomsburg is 12-5-2 on the year. |
