BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University women's soccer standout Renee Williams (Larksville/Wyoming Valley West) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 6th.

In three games last week Williams, a senior, netted five goals and had one assist to lead Bloomsburg to victories in all three games. In a win over 19-th ranked Philadelphia University Williams scored two second half goals, including the game-winner, to give the Huskies a 2-1 win. Then Williams scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left against Edinboro to give Bloomsburg a 3-2 win. Williams' final game of the week against Clarion resulted in both a goal and an assist in the team's 4-0 victory.

For the season, Williams has nine goals and one assist. For her career, Williams has scored 47 times and assisted on 28 others.

Bloomsburg, 6-2-2, will play at Kutztown Wednesday starting at 4 p.m.
