| In the second half, the Huskies dodged two near misses by Millersville. In the 70th minute, Millersville | ||||||||||
| took a shot which deflected off goalie Amanda Lawler (Schnecksville/Parkland). The Marauders | ||||||||||
| recovered the ball and attempted another shot, but Jill Docherty (Allentown/Catasauqua) | ||||||||||
| was able to kick the ball out of play. In the 71st minute, another Millersville shot was deflected | ||||||||||
| by Lawler and Lindsay Knupp (Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) was able to kick the ball out of play | ||||||||||
| keeping the Marauders from going up 2-0. The Huskies offense came close to scoring deep into | ||||||||||
| the second half when Becky Callen (Woodstown, NJ/Woodstown) took a shot that bounced off the top | ||||||||||
| of the goal post with seven minutes left to play. The Huskies were also called for offsides with less | ||||||||||
| than two minutes left in the game that prevented them from sending the game into overtime. In goal for | ||||||||||
| the Huskies, Lawler recorded nine goals. | ||||||||||
