Jill DochertySport: Women's Soccer Class: Sophomore Position: Back Hometown: Allentown High School: Catasaqua Major: Physical Therapy 2004: Injured. Did not play. 2003: Named second team All-PSAC for her backfield play...Scored a goal in 3-2 loss versus California (PA)...Tallied the Huskies lone goal in 2-1 loss versus Edinboro. 2002: Named a third team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Also selected first team All-Northeast region by the NSCAA. Named 1st team All-PSAC. Started all but the first game of the season for the Huskies and was part of a defense that allowed just 17 goals scored during the year. She also had one assist during the season opener against Philadelphia. In addition, she reads the game tremendously well and has a lot of poise and composure in directing the defense as a freshman. Docherty also has the ability to serve balls and get out of tight situations. Other Notes:Played for the Council Rock Destroyers club team. A 5-year EPYSA Pennsylvania State team member. Is a solid, center back that will bring experience and consistency to the team.
