Bloomsburg Downs ESU in Women's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG — Four different Huskies scored goals to lead the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team to a 4-1 win over East Stroudsburg Wednesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, Alex Totino opened the scoring on a goal off of a Becky Ritter crossing pass just 3:39 into the second half. Just over four minutes later Jen Fico tallied her first goal of the year off of a Sara Fick rebound to stretch the lead to two goals. Junior Michelle Carmosky also scored her first goal of the year to give the Huskies a comfortable 3-0 lead with 14 minutes to play in the game. ESU got on the board with just under 12 minutes to play, but Bloomsburg's Amanda McLaughlin sealed the victory with her second goal on the year to lift the Huskies over ESU for their third win of the season.

In goal, the Huskies' Robin Gerber earned her second win of the season, allowing only one goal, while making eight saves.

Bloomsburg, 3-3, will visit Millersville on Saturday at 3 p.m.
