Bloomsburg Loses to Indiana (PA) in Women's Soccer

INDIANA — Indiana (PA)'s Erin Falce scored one minute into overtime to lift the Indians to a 3-2 win over Bloomsburg University in women's soccer action Thursday.

Falce got IUP off to a 1-0 lead when she scored 14 minutes into the game. The Huskies Michelle Carmosky then knotted the game at 1-1 with a goal at the 23-minute mark with the assist going to Becky Ritter.

Bloomsburg took a 2-1 lead with a goal by Christina Mazurek off an Erin Snyder assist with two minutes to play before halftime. IUP, though, quickly answered with a goal a minute later to tie the game at 2-2 at the break.

After a scoreless second half, Falce scored off an assist from Crystal Heder just one minute into the extra period.

Bloomsburg falls to 4-5 on the year. IUP improves to 11-1. The Huskies visit West Chester on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
