They will all have an opportunity to contribute immediately to our program and will be tremendous additions to our squad. I expect her to impact our program right away. Lauren has the ability to challenge in the air, serve, and finish. We are expecting her to mesh well with some of the strengths we already have and to add some strengths where we need them.” Spitzner, a 5'10 midfielder/Back hails from Jackson, NJ. She captained her high school team and has played at a high level of club ball in New Jersey. “Jamie, has all the potential to develop into an excellent college player,” Dickson commented. “ She has a strong central presence, ability to distribute and ability to hold the ball under pressure. I have been impressed with Brit, and feel she is the type of person first and foremost that an elite goalkeeper needs to be. We are looking forward to her arrival to our program.” Gerber, a 5'5 goalkeeper from Succasunna, NJ has been a four year member of the Roxbury High School Varsity program, earning All-County, All-Conference, All-Area and All-State honors in the state of New Jersey. I could not be happier with the level of the two goalkeepers coming into our program this fall.” Gerber has also competed in swimming and softball. She played her high school ball at Hunter-Tannersville High School and her club ball with the RVW club program. “Jen has one of the best work rates I have seen in a women's player in a long time. This will allow her to adjust to college ball quickly. One of the things I feel is so great about Jen is her personality. She is not going to ever back down or be out worked on the field. I also believe she has the versatility to play anywhere on the field. Jen could play in the middle, the flank, up top or even as a back. I look forward to Bradley developing as a college player.” Also, a very talented skier, and a solid overall athlete. |
