Bloomsburg Falls in Women's Soccer

SHIPPENSBURG — Shippensburg University scored the game's only goal with just under three minutes to play in the first half and went on to a 1-0 win over Bloomsburg University in women's soccer action Tuesday night.

The game was scoreless until the Lady Raiders Elizabeth Wishard scored off a Kristi Miller assist at the 42:04 mark.

Bloomsburg dominated the action getting off 21 shots compared with 10 for the Lady Raiders and also held an 8-2 edge in shots on goal.

The Huskies, 2-2, host West Chester on Saturday at 1 p.m.
