Bloomsburg Drops 1-0 Game to Adelphi

BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg women's soccer team fell to Adelphi, 1-0, on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Huskies' record to 4-5-2, 3-3-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

In the first half, the defense was strong as the teams played to a scoreless tie. With three minutes left in the half, goalkeeper Brittany Moses (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) had a diving save to preserve the tie.

Caitlin Morrison broke the tie early in the second half to give Adelphi a 1-0 lead. The Huskies had four shots for an attempt to tie the game, but were unable to get anything past the Panthers' goalkeeper Christine Conway.

For the game, Moses had five saves and Conway had two.

The Huskies will travel to East Stroudsburg on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. game.
