Bloomsburg Women's Soccer Falls to Millersville

MILLERSVILLE - The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost 1-0 against Millersville in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play on Wednesday night.

Eight minutes into the contest, Millersville's Destiny Lee scored off of an assist from Jacquelin Iannuzzi to give the Maurauders a 1-0 lead that would hold the entire game.

The Huskies outshot Millersville 7-5 but were unable to convert on any of their scoring opportunities.

In goal for Millersville (3-11-2, 2-8-1 PSAC), Karrine Riggins saved five shots.

Brittany Moses (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) saved three for the Huskies (5-8-4, 4-5-3 PSAC) who will wrap up the 2006 season on Saturday in Bloomsburg with a 1:00 game against Slippery Rock.
