Wade Named PSAC Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University freshman Suzie Wade (Watsontown/Warrior Run) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending September 10th.
Wade helped the Huskies to a 2-0 record on the week. On Tuesday, Wade's goal in the 88th minute helped seal the Huskies 2-0 win over Mansfield. In Saturday's game, the Huskies were trailing previously undefeated C.W. Post 1-0 when Wade scored in the 26th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Bloomsburg went on to win the game 3-2.
In her first season with the Huskies (3-1-1), Wade already has a team-leading three goals.
Bloomsburg is in action at Lock Haven today and will take on Shippensburg on Wednesday at home in a 5:30 p.m. game.
