Bloomsburg Falls to West Chester in Women's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG -- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to West Chester in a Saturday afternoon Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match up at Sports Stadium.

During the scoreless first half, the Huskies out shot the Rams, 4-3. In goal for Bloomsburg, Brittany Moses (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) saved three shots.

Within the first two minutes of the second half, West Chester's Michele Kolenet scored to give the Rams the lead. Julie Karcher preserved the win for West Chester after scoring with eight minutes left to play.

For West Chester (15-0, 10-0 PSAC), Hilary Smart saved two shots for the game, while Bloomsburg's Moses saved a total of 10.

Bloomsburg (5-7-4, 4-4-3 PSAC) will travel to Millersville University on Tuesday for an 8:00 p.m. game.
