Bloomsburg Falls to Edinboro in Women's Soccer

EDINBORO -- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost to Edinboro University by a 3-1 score on Saturday.

The Fighting Scots got on the board first at 17 minute mark. Bloomsburg tied the game at 1-1 when Meg Donlon (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) scored off a Kristine Preski (Pottstown/Owen J. Roberts) assist at the 33 minute mark.

The game stayed that way until the 70th minute when Ashley Pulman scored her second goal of the contest for Edinboro. The Fighting Scots put the game away with a goal just before the 80th minute.

Edinboro goes to 2-0-1 with the victory, while the Huskies fall to 1-2. Bloomsburg will host Millersville at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
