Bloomsburg Falls to Kutztown in Women's Soccer

KUTZTOWN -- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost to Kutztown by a 3-0 score on Monday.

After a scoreless first half, the Golden Bears finally broke through in the 61st minute when Angela Corrado scored on a Diana Hoppe assist. It stayed 1-0 until the 76th minute when Kutztown scored again to go up 2-0. With less than seven minutes to play, the Golden Bears put the game out of reach with their third goal of the game.

The Huskies held the edge in shots on goal, 14-13, but saw Kutztown hold a 10-1 edge in corner kicks.

Bloomsburg falls to 3-4, 2-2 in the PSAC East, while Kutztown goes to 5-3-1, 2-3-1 in the PSAC East.

The Huskies host West Chester on Saturday at 1 p.m.
