Women's Soccer Falls In OT

BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University women's woccer team fell to Lock Haven University by a score of 2-1 on Saturday evening.
The game was tied at 1-1 in overtime when Lock Haven's Colleen Kafka scored an unassisted goal from 30 yards out for the game winner.
Kafka scored the first goal of the game at 53 minutes in, and that stood until senior Lauren Hess (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) fired an unassisted goal past Lock Haven's Emily Wagner. The Huskies would shoot a total of 22 shots on the game, eight of them on goal. Sophomores Ashely Brucker (Blairstown, NJ/North Warren) and Christine Wason (Hagerstown, MD/North Hagerstown) both added shots on goal, while Brittany Moses (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) added three saves for the Huskies.
The Huskies return to action on Tuesday at 4:00 when they travel to Kutztown to take on the Golden Bears.
