Stoka's Goal Lifts Women's Soccer Team to Win

BLOOMSBURG- Kelsey Stoka's (Langhrone/Neshaminy) goal in the 87th minute of play lifted the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team past Shippensburg on Thursday by a 2-1 score.
Stoka's goal, her first of the season, came off an assist from Jessica Bender (Macungie/Emmaus) and put the Huskies in front for the first time in the game.
Shippensburg took a first half lead on a goal by Kellye Von Stetten in the 32nd minute. The game stayed 1-0 until freshman Meg Donlon (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) scored, unassisted, in the 57th minute. It was Donlon's fourth goal in the last three games.
Bloomsburg goes to 5-5-1, 4-3-1 in the PSAC East. The Huskies host Slippery Rock on Saturday.
