In a battle of soccer powerhouses, Bloomburg tied for

fourth place in the Northeast Region, beat Mercyhurst who is ranked 21st in

the country in Division II. Sophomore Alea Balthaser and freshman

Renee Williams each had three goals in the game. Balthaser now has 15 goals

on the year putting her second on the team, while Williams remains third

with a total of 12 goals. Both players scored three goals in a game

earlier in the year. Sophomore Amanda Gillespie picked up her 12 win of the

year and has a GAA of 0.952 to go along with 91 saves and 6 shutouts.
