Meet Results

MANSFIELD—The Bloomsburg University women's swim team had a trio of swimmers win two events each as the Huskies beat Mansfield and Millersville in a tri-meet. Bloomsburg finished with a score of 101, while Mansfield had 53 and Millersville 47.

Holly Hicks (Medford Lakes, NJ/Holy Cross) took first in the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:22.39 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:32.74. Ashley Jones (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) was first in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.44 and the 100-yard free in 55.49.

Janine DiSalvatore (Thornton/West Chester East) was first in the 50 free in 26.12 and the 200 butterfly in 2:14.41. Also, taking home a first place finish was Becky Witwer (Harrisburg/Susquehanna Twp.) in the 200 breastroke in 2:37.89.

Bloomsburg is now 2-1 for the year and will host the Bloomsburg Relays Sunday starting at 1 p.m.
