BLOOMSBURG-Bloomsburg University women's swimmer Jodi Kaiser, Bloomsburg (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Kaiser captured two individual first-place finishes at the Bloomsburg Invitational to lead the Huskies to the team title. She finished first in the 1,650 freestyle in 18:26.36 and the 200 freestyle in 2:01.50. Kaiser also was part of the winning 400- and 800-yard freestyle relay teams at the invitational.

In meets earlier this season, Kaiser took home a first in the 1,000 free against Mansfield University (11:06.78) and later against Ithaca College (11:02.97). She was also part of the winning 400 free relay team against Ithaca College (3:42.19).

Bloomsburg is 1-2 on the year and is idle till Jan. 9, 2002 when it travels to Florida to face Rollins College and Wheeling Jesuit.
