PSAC Swimming Championship Wrap UpWEST CHESTER —Action at the 2003 PSAC Swimming championships wrapped up on Saturday with the women finishing fifth with 161.5 points, while the men were 6th with 151.5 points. For the women, the 400 free relay team of Erin Carey, Lindsay Wallace, Becky Witwer and Ashley Jones finished third in a time of 3:39.01. Also, in the 1,650 free, Jodi Kasier was 12th in 18:44.21, while in the 200 backstroke Kari Pokrzwya was ninth in 2:11.33. In the 100 free, Ashley Jones was eighth in 53.33, while Linday Wallace finished 12th in 55.11. In the 200 breaststroke, Becky Witwer was 8th in 2:30.22, while Erin Carey was 11th in 2:33.30. For the men, the 400 free relay team of Steve Fisher, Brandon Hilt, Tom DiSalvatore and Jason Davis took home fifth in 3:13.79. Individually, Hilt was 9th in the 200 backstroke in 1:59.11, while in the 100 free Fisher was 12th in 50.98. In the 200 breaststroke, Jason Davis was 7th in a time of 2:10.58, while Ryan Farrell was 11th in 2:17.30. In the 200 butterfly, Tom DiSalvatore was 10th in 2:03.73. |
