BLOOMSBURG —Shippensburg University defeated Bloomsburg University in both men's and women's swimming action Friday night at Shippensburg. The Red Raiders won the men's meet 108-97, while the Lady Raiders won 112-87.

For the Bloomsburg men, Steven Fisher was a two-time winner taking first in the 100-free in 49.86 and the 50-free in 22.30. In addition, Jason Davis took first in the 200-breast in 2:15.71 and was second in the 200-butterfly in 2:05.06. Brandon Hilt also took home first in the 200-backstroke in 2:06.89, while Steve Post was second in 200-free in 1:52.26.

Lindsay Wallace, who took first in the 100-free in 56.40 and was second in the 50-free in 26.40, led the Bloomsburg women. In addition, Becky Witwer took first in the 200-breast in 2:32.84, while Ashley Jones was second in the 200-free in 1:59.44.

The Bloomsburg women are back in action tomorrow afternoon at East Stroudsburg starting at 1 p.m.
