Bloomsburg Beats Mansfield in Women's Swimming

MEET RESULTS

MANSFIELD —The Bloomsburg University women's swim team defeated Mansfield University, 138-98, on Saturday.

The Huskies Kari Pokrzwya was a two-time winner for the Huskies taking first in the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:03.19 and the 200-back in 2;15.79. Pokrzwya was also part of the Huskies winning 200-yard medley relay, which took first in a time of 1:59.86.

Also picking up first place finishes were Kristin Harrison in the 1000 free in a time of 11:51.72; Rebecca Kadingo in the 200 free in 2:05.61; Laura Jeffers in the 100-breast in 1:15.56; and Lauren Sterkenberg in the 200-butterfly in 2:22.85. In addition, Diana Smith was first in the 50-free in 26.27 with Courtney Dean first in the 100-free in 57.99.

Bloomsburg is 1-0 for the year.
